The Practicing with Professionalism course offered by the Greater Lynn Bar Association features an interactive format comprised of eight modules, including lecture, a fishbowl demonstration and a break-out session. The one day course begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. Program participants are required to sign in at the beginning and end to ensure attendance.
The course agenda includes the following training modules: Managing Professional Relationships; Introduction to the Court System; Discovery Dispute Fishbowl Demonstration; Ethical Standards Hypotheticals; Office of Bar Counsel/Board of Bar Overseers Presentation; Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Presentation; Starting and Building a Successful Law Practice Presentation; Law Office Management Assistance Program Presentation. Lunch will be provided by the Greater Lynn Bar Association.
Presenters will include the current President of the Greater Lynn Bar Association, Michael J. Merriam; as well as the Presiding Justice of the Lynn District Court, Albert Conlon; Associate Justice of the Lynn District Court James Lamothe; Clerk-Magistrate of the Lynn District Court, Jane Brady Stirgwolt; First Assistant Clerk-Magistrate of the Lynn District Court, John Fleming; and Attorney James Carrigan and Attorney Loring Fluke.
**All new attorneys who attend a Practicing with Professionalism Course offered by the Greater Lynn Bar Association will receive a complimentary One Year Membership to the Greater Lynn Bar Association.**
